2D Design Students Tour Dunbar Spring Neighborhood 9th Graders in the 2D Design class toured the historic Dunbar Spring neighborhood as part of the Urban Design unit. They studied the various rain harvesting projects in the neighborhood as well aspects of the area that make it one of Tucson's most walkable communities. Those features include: traffic calming chicanes, public art, community food stores, a community garden, and several natural beautification projects. We also got an introduction to the neighborhood from water harvesting consultant and author, Brad Lancaster. August 13th, 2017

Art Club on Tuesdays! Art Club meets on Tuesdays from 3:10-4:10 in the Art Room. New members are always welcome. The goal of the club is to create works of art to display around the school, especially on the exterior of the buildings. We plan to make a series of 2x2 foot tile mosaic murals to display. Check back for design details. Thanks for all those who helped support the Art Club during our bake sale on Wed. 1/25. We raised over $60! We plan to use the funds to pay for tie-dye t-shirt kits, which will also be a fundraiser. Stay tuned for more details. October 28th, 2016
